The CEE Animation Workshop has selected 3 feature film projects and 6 television projects for its current year, which will begin on February 22nd. Two projects from our country were selected for the occasion.
These are the project of the feature animated film How the Beehive Disappeared by the production company Talesgate; Nemanja Gavrilović (producer) and Miloš Đurđević (storyboard artist) are collaborating on the film. The second one is project of the animated series Imbalance by producer and screenwriter Vuk Vulićević, which is being produced by Dead pixel. The project previously won support at the Competition of the Film Center of Serbia for the development of the project.
This one-year workshop received applications from 14 countries with low production capacity, and 45% of it is devoted to animated series projects. That is why 6 projects of that type were chosen instead of the planned 4. The workshop will take place online from February to December with four one-week training modules and with the possibility of adding a residential module, if epidemiological circumstances allow it.
