Based on the voting results, the film The Russian Consul by Miroslav Lekić was chosen as the Serbian candidate for the “Oscar” award.
Film Center of Serbia thanks the members of the Selection Committee for their work and emphasizes that the film The Russian Consul was also in competition, directed by the president of the Board of Directors of Film Center of Serbia. Therefore, Mr. Lekić did not participate in the selection process of the members of the Selection Committee. Also, this year, the commission did not include a representative of the Board of Directors of Film Center of Serbia, as is usual practice.
