It is with great pleasure that we announce the 12th “Days of Serbian Film”, which will take place on November 8th and 9th at the Korjaamo Kino cinema in Helsinki. This year’s event offers a unique opportunity for Finnish and international audiences to experience some of the best contemporary Serbian works, with free admission for all visitors.
The festival is organized by the Serbian-Finnish Society based in Helsinki, with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Helsinki, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia – Diaspora Administration, the Film Center of Serbia and the City of Helsinki.
Since its foundation in 2011, the Days of Serbian Film in Helsinki have been a cultural bridge, organized by the Serbian-Finnish Society, dedicated to celebrating Serbian cinematography and culture. This year’s event provides a platform for the screening of various Serbian films, from documentaries to feature films. In previous years, the festival was enriched with talks and visits by filmmakers and supported by Film Center Serbia, the Embassy of Serbia in Finland, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the City of Helsinki, whose contribution was crucial for the success of the festival.
As we enter our 12th edition, the Days of Serbian Film in Helsinki remain a symbol of the lasting cultural connection between Serbia and Finland and continue to be an important platform for the promotion of Serbian cinematography and culture.
