The 52nd edition of the most prestigious fantasy film festival in Europe, the festival in the Spanish city of Sitges, will take place from October 3rd until October 13. The festival, which will run will feature the Serbian short feature film The Little One, directed by Danilo Bećković. This movie is part of the Sesión Especial Cortos selection and its screenings are scheduled for October 5th and 12th.
The film stars the young Finnish actor Oni Tomila, renowned for his roles in Rare Exports and Big Game, as well as Кatarina Žutić and Slaviša Čurović, with a debut by Darija Vračević.
The screenplay is by Dimitrije Vojnov, and the film was directed by Danilo Bećković,produced by Marko Paljić and Jordanče Petkovski. The DOP was Dušan Ivanović, the composer Marko Кon, set design was by Jelena Milinović, editing by Aleksandar Popović, and costumes by Ivana Stojanović.
The film was produced by Mali Budo and Gargantua films, with the support of the Film Center of Serbia and the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia, as well as the Mladenovac Center for Culture and Tourism.
