After receiving the award for the best screenplay at the FICIMAD (Madrid International Independent Film Festival), award for the best film in the competition program at the “Obnova” festival in Novi Sad, the award for the best international feature film at WilliFest in Brooklyn, the film The Game, directed by Ana Lazarević has won the award for the best feature film at the BendFilm Festival in the USA. This production, created with the support of Film Center Serbia, was also selected for festivals in Buenos Aires, Monandak and New York (Hudson New York).

The film follows Strahinja, a smuggler with poor parenting skills and a gambling addiction, who gets stuck with two migrant boys, taking them via back roads to find an illegal passage to Western Europe.

Ana Lazarević, who graduated from Columbia University, both directed the film and wrote the script. The director of photography is Joaquin Neira from Argentina, and Ana also edited the film together with Ana Godoy, also from Argentina. The professional part of the acting ensemble is led by Branislav Bane Trifunović, Sloboda Mićalović, Boris Isaković and Radoslav Rade Milenković, while young actors from refugee camps in Serbia portray young migrants.
