“Filmanak”, The Days of Serbian film in Württemberg took place from the 24th to the 27th of October for the ninth time this year. Days of Serbian Film is an event organized by Film Center Serbia in cooperation with the Serbian Academic Network “Nikola Tesla”.
The main program featured films Damned Dog by Dragan Pešikan, Miroslav Stamatov’s Taxi Blues and Milos Avramović’s South Wind. Guest of FILMANAK was director Dragan Pešikan , as well as the young author of the short film Nine by Anamarija Matić.
The program also featured short films by John Vojnovic – Halyard Mission Hero by Bojan Dragićević and Nine by Anamarija Matić. For the first time, a feature-length cartoon, The Story of Mickey Ant by Sanja Savic, was screened, for which screenings for children were organized in collaboration with Serbian supplementary schools.
In general, all the films were well received by the audience with a lot of positive vibes, laughter and well-deserved applause in the end. This time, two films were shown with German translation, and attracted international visitors.
