The Association of Film Artists of Serbia (UFUS), with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Serbia, has awarded their prestigious annual awards for 2023.
The award for overall creativity and contribution to Serbian cinematography was awarded to prominent film and television directors Branko Baletić and Stanko Crnobrnja, editor Petar Marković and Branislav Milošević, editor and director of numerous documentaries.
The annual award for filmmaking in 2023 in the category of feature film is shared by Vladimir Perišić for directing the movie Lost Country and Matija Gluščević and Dušan Zorić for directing the movie Have You Seen This Woman?
The annual award for filmmaking in 2023 in the category of feature-length documentary film was awarded to Darko Lungulov for the direction of the film YU Grupa.
The annual award for filmmaking in 2023 in the category of animated film was awarded to Vera Vlajić for directing the film Caricture Adventure.
The “Jovan Aćin” Memorial Award for achievements in the field of engaged documentary film went to Ivana Todorović for directing the film At the End of the Road.
The association also awarded three diplomas: to the Belgrade Documentary and Short Film Festival on the occasion of 70 years of existence and contribution to the affirmation of film, to the Faculty of Dramatic Arts (FDU) on the occasion of 75 years of work on the education of film professionals, as well as to Dejan Dabić, artistic director of the Belgrade Documentary and Short Film Festival film for dedicated work in the affirmation of filmmaking.
The award jury was composed of: Radoslav Vladić, cinematographer, Miljen – Kreka Kljaković, set designer, Milan Knežević, director and Branislav Milošević, editor and director, who was exempted from the decision for the Award for overall creativity and contribution to Serbian cinematography.
Valuable professional awards will be presented to the awardees at a ceremony in the Aeroclub on December 14th at 12 PM.
