After its world premiere at the Karlovy Vary Film Festival, the East of the West program and the domestic premiere at the recently concluded Beldocs Festival, where it won the Best Camera Award, Tea Lukač’s Roots will premiere in North America at the prestigious Camden International Film Festival in the competition selection “John Marshall Contemporary Ethnography”, which will be held this year in a hybrid format, both off and online, from 16th to 26th September.
The director and screenwriter for the film “Roots” is Tea Lukač, the director of photography is Sara Preradović, the editor is Nataša Pantić, the sound designer is Bojan Palikuća, and the producer is Andrijana Sofranić Šućur in front of the production company NANA 143, while the co-producer is Set Sail Films. The creation of this film was supported by Film Center Serbia.
