The call for short films about disability for the 22nd International Film Festival “Catch the Film” is open until April 20th. All selected films will be screened at this year’s festival in Novi Sad and will be shortlisted for screening at the next editions of the “Catch a Film” that take place in Rijeka, Croatia, then Kotor, Montenegro, and Banja Luka, Republika Srpska.
“Catch a Film” is the only regional film festival about disability, but also the most accessible film festival in the region. It is held with the aim of affirming domestic and foreign feature, documentary and animated films, whose actors are people with disabilities, as well as promoting the opportunities and challenges that people with disabilities face (with special reference to multiple marginalized groups) through art.
