The projects that will participate in the 10th When East Meets West (WEMW) co-production forum in Trieste have been announced, and among those selected is the project for the Serbian feature film 1970 by director Darko Lungulov. Lungulov’s previous work includes films There and Here and The Monument to Michael Jackson.
The forum will take place during the Trieste Film Festival, January 19th-21st. A total of 338 projects have been submitted from 55 countries, a record number of applications so far, and 22 projects in the development phase, 12 feature films and 10 documentaries have been selected. Some 500 film professionals from more than 40 countries are expected in attendance.
