THE STORY OF AN OAK TREE

The citizens of Makedonski Brod and Kriva Palanka, a long time ago, in 1948, took a train into the unknown.They left the rugged mountains and settled in the Banat plain. They inhabited houses of German who left, but also brought their customs and traditions. As the years passed, the inhabitants with Macedonian origins became good hosts, respectable citizens of Serbia: winemakers, farmers, poets ... Nurturing bilingualism and multiculturalism they became the best "bridge" between the two nations and two states.
