"With my eyes wide open " is a documentary about Goran Nikolic, a fifty-year-old marathon runner, who entered the "Guinness World Records" book by running 55 marathon races for 55 consecutive days. Goran is a visually impaired person. He was born with only 5% of vision on one eye, while he does not see at all on other one. This is a story about his life, his thoughts and his subdued accomplishment, which he tells in the camera while running through the tracks of the park "Šumarice" in Kragujevac. At the same time, this is also a story about the power of will, as a driving force in man, finding alternatives in the lives of persons born with disabilities, as well as shifting the limits of human endurance.
