On August 5th the premiere of the film Heavens Above, directed by Srđan Dragojević, took place as a part of the competition program of the Locarno Film Festival.
The film has garnered an excellent reception of the film from the audience and very positive reaction from critics.
The film was supported at the Competition organized by Film Center Serbia for co-financing the production of domestic feature films, as well as by the European fund Eurimages.
The film cast includes Goran Navojec, Ksenija Marinković, Bojan Navojec, Nataša Marković, Andjelka Prpić, Miloš Samolov, Srđan Todorović, Nikola Pejaković, Ana Mandić, and others. The production company Delirium, backed by producer Biljana Prvanović, who is in charge of producing the film from the Serbian side. The director of photography is Dušan Joksimović, the editor is Petar Marković, the set designers are Jelena Sopić and Jovana Cvetković, the costume designer is Tatjana Strugar and the make-up artist is Sandra Ivatović.
