The Contemporary Balkan Art platform was founded in London with the aim of promoting contemporary artists from Southeast Europe. For the second year in a row, the Southeast European Future Festival (SEFF), held at the Rich Mix Cultural Center in London, will showcase a selection of the region’s foremost artists, with a particular focus on documentary films and documentary photography.

On Saturday, September 14th, SEFF opens with two prominent films, IKEA for YU directed by Marija Ratković-Vidaković and Occupied Cinema by Senka Domanović, the winner of the main award at the March Festival. In the evening, Celestial Theme by Mladen Matičević, a film about the life and work of the Serbian musician Vlada Divljan will be screened. Due to high interest, the film will be screened again on Sunday.
