SOLDIERS. A STORY FROM FERENTARI (minority coproduction)

Adi, a young anthropologist recently left by his girlfriend, moves to Ferentari, the poorest neighborhood in Bucharest, with the desire of writing a study on the pop music of Roma community. While researching his subject, he meets Alberto, a Roma ex-convict who promises Adi to help him. Soon, the two begin a romance in which Adi feeds Alberto with improbable plans of escaping poverty and Alberto reciprocates with well-concocted phrases of love.
