HAMLET

This story of a Gypsy youngster named Hamlet is based on William Shakespeare’s most famous drama. Even tough Hamlet was written over 400 years ago, its structure is still relevant and modern. The plot takes place on a city garbage dump and its characters are Gypsies who live in a colony near Belgrade, Serbia. Two opposing Gypsy gangs, one Orthodox Christian and another Muslim, fight for the control of garbage distribution.
