GORA

The isolated villages of Gora high on the cruel Šar-Planina are the home of the Gorani people, muslims who speak a Slovene language. The film follows their everyday rituals and depicts the simple life in all of its natural and cultural glory. They work, sing, tell tales, play songs, pray and hike and drink while the mountain above and around them constantly reminds them of the ephemeral human existence.
