WHILE THEY WERE FLYING TO THE MOON

Belgrade, July 21, 1969, the day when Apollo 11 landed on the Moon. The city is deserted; everybody hypnotically watches TV transmission, except Tozi and Vera, who are overwhelmed by mutual rapprochement. The two have known each other from the collective in which they work together. However, this is the first time they talk to one another. Tozi was apprehensive earlier of his colleague, because he has heard the she was a snitch for the Security Information Agency. However, under the circumstances of silence and desolation that was around them, he decides to talk to her. They meet at the bar, and then continue the evening together, in Tozi’s apartment. The more words are exchanged, the more is Tozi in doubt whether the rumors about Vera are true. And while Apollo 11 is landing on the Moon and Neil Armstrong’s making a big step for mankind, Tozi is discovering universe in Vera. After culmination - landing on the Moon and the conquest of Vera - she reveals that she has liked him for a long time, but that she never dared to approach him because she heard that he was a snitch.
