Traditionally, Film Center Serbia is also present at this year’s Berlin International Film Festival as part of the European Film Market (EFM).
Through numerous formal meetings and informal conversations FCS promotes the current Serbian film production, Serbia as a desirable location for filming films, incentives that our country provides to foreign productions, as well as upcoming projects that will mark this year and the next year on the domestic, regional and international film level.
As part of the Berlinale co-production market, the project Folk Play by director Mirjana Karanović, from the production company This and That Productions, was presented, while at the Talent project market, the project Uptight Ass by director Matija Gluščević, from the production company Naked, was presented.
As part of the Berlinale Talents program, Serbia has two talents: Čarna Vučinić, a producer, and Goran Jovanović, a director.
A larger number of foreign festival selectors has agreed to visit Belgrade again later this year as part of the “Belgrade Work in Progress” program, for the purpose of screening and potential selection of the latest Serbian films at various festivals.
