Gordan Matić, director of Film Center Serbia, stated on the occasion of signing the Protocol: “I am very pleased that we have signed this protocol on cooperation between the two institutions on a national basis. Above all, it will enable our film makers who deal with certain historical topics, to be able to get the real data that are important for the creation of a film much easier and more precisely. The Museum of Genocide Victims will offer its people, resources, materials and archives to all our authors who want to make films on these topics, so that they can check the data that interests them. I know how important it is to have good archival material that does not deviate from historically accurate data. That is a great responsibility for every author who deals with real events and personalities. ”

In the previous period, the Museum of Genocide Victims has made a number of documentaries and is already working extensively with our prominent directors who deal with certain topics, such as Lordan Zafranović and Goran Radovanović. “For us as a national institution, it is very valuable that an increasing number of creators and experts from the world of cinematography, both ours and foreign, turn to us with the desire to consult our experts regarding the material kept in the Museum of Genocide Victims.”
