The film The Other Side of Everything by Mila Turajlić has now won the Grand Prix for the best historical documentary distributed in France during the previous year.
The jury, made up of a dozen historians and professionals in the field of audio-visual creativity, has shortlisted the most memorable and original documentary based on screenplay and its approach to history. Among the 19 films selected were thoseby notable masters such as Sergei Loznitsa, Wang Bing and Nanni Moretti. The award ceremony will take place today as part of the current edition of the Rendez-vous de l’histoire (Blues), followed by a screening of this Serbian film.
