Doc’n’Rhythm festival, under the slogan “Super 8 for eternity” inspired by the symbolism of the number eight, which carries infinity and the knowledge that change is constant, gave moviegoers a chance to see various music documentaries that explore the lives and careers of musicians, as well as their works of different genres. We listened to stories about music documentaries in the making, discussed important music and film topics and phenomena, created new documents of our rhythm.
13 films were shown in the competition program of this unique music documentary festival.
The jury, consisting of: Dejan Petrović, director, founder of the camp and festival of the short documentary film Interakcija, Bane Antović, director, art director and founder of MTS, and Nikola Čuturilo, guitarist and composer, decided that the best films are:
Special mention was given to Ana Đurović’s film, Young Until I Die.
Carin Goeiers’ film Candy was declared the best film of the festival.

It is an intimate portrait that reveals the background of her professional career, but also shows this great artist in the role of daughter, mother, and wife.”)
The film makers addressed the audience and thanked them via video link. The audience at the festival had the opportunity to vote after each screening, so the Audience Award went to the film The Fairy Tale of Irrevocable Time by Pavle Terzić.
The award-winning films of the festival were announced by Nikola Čuturilo, a member of the jury, and Sandra Rančić, the founder and director of the festival, and the co-founder of the festival and film editor of the “Student City” Culture Center, Igor Toholj.
The eighth edition of the Dok’n’Ritam festival closed with the performance of the bands MONAH from Niš (winners of the Riot Rock Festival) and one of the biggest bands of the Serbian rock scene, KANDA, KODŽA I NEBOJŠA.
