Participants in the upcoming edition of the CEE Animation Workshop have been revealed and among the selected is the project of the Serbian animated film New Rabbitland by Ana Nedeljković and Nikola Majdak Jr. (the film is a production of Jelena Mitrović and the house of Baš Čelik). The CEE Animation Workshop  is a one-year international program of training, project development and networking for producers and their creative teams, which focus on animated or hybrid projects.

This program is intended for established producers and creative teams with animated projects in any format (short and feature films, TV series, hybrid projects) currently in the development phase. Participants without projects, representatives of companies and public institutions can also apply for the workshop. The program is designed to consist of mentoring work in the field of content development, ranging from consultations on screenplays to artistic and production consultations. This time, applications arrived from 19 countries, and 32 participants were selected. 12 projects were selected, and there are also four producers without projects.

Among the selected projects is a co-production between Serbia and Northern Macedonia, the short film Hide and Seek by director Ana Aleksovska, and produced by Ivan Popović. Miloš Ljubomirović (Servia Film) from our country is in the group of producers without a project.

The short film by Ana Nedeljković and Nikola Majdak Jr., Rabbitland (2013) was awarded the Crystal Bear Prize at the Berlinale and screened at over a hundred festivals around the world, winning other significant awards. They are also the authors of the multi-award winning animated short film Untravel.
