The 15th Festival of Serbian Fantastical Film was officially closed last night with the award ceremony and the screening of award-winning films in the Hall of the Cultural Center of Belgrade (DKC).

This year’s awards were decided by a jury composed of: Vjekoslav Katušin, director and producer, Marko Čkonjević, founder of the distribution company FAME Solutions, Pat Wind, actor and Austin Jennings, editor, producer and director.

The Bonehead award for the best foreign short film was awarded to the Russian film Scare Me (Напугай меня) by director Gleb Kulkov.

The Wifehounters, a short by Alexandera Ivanović, Lazara Aleksić and Mirza Abdagića  won the best domestic screenplay award.

Petar Ristovski won the best domestic director award for Fury.

The film For Vasota, directed by Petar Pesut, was declared the best domestic short film at this year’s edition of the festival.

The award in the category for the best film from the countries of the former Yugoslavia was won by Temporal, by Slovenian director Matic Valentan.

The award for special contribution to film art went to the Serbian art-horror film Vampire.

After the awarding ceremony, the  Russian horror film Superdeep was screened, in which the main role is played by the Serbian actress Milena Radulović.
