Along with 25 other European films, Stefan Arsenijević’s As Far As I Can Walk has been nominated for the Arab Critics’ Award for the current year. 71 prominent and influential Arab film critics from 15 Arabic-speaking countries will select the three best films from 26 nominees, nominated by European national film institutions, which are also members of the European Film Promotion (EFP) network. After Winter, a Montenegrin film and a minority Serbian co-production by Ivan Bakrač has also been nominated.
The Arab Critics ’Award for European Films was launched in 2019 by the European Film Promotion (EFP) and the Arab Cinema Center (ACC).
This year’s winner will be announced in November, during the Cairo International Film Festival (CIFF).
