The Belgrade premiere of Gordan Matić’s film Bullets Over Marseilles will be held on October 9th in  Kombank Hall, it was announced today. The new feature-documentary film directed by Gordan Matić had its world premiere on August 5th at the Herceg Novi Film Festival, after which it was shown in Sarajevo and Niš. The date of the Belgrade premiere (October 9th) falls on the anniversary of the assassination of King Alexander of Yugoslavia.

The film was written and directed by Matić, while Vladimir Andrić also worked on the screenplay. Dušan Ivanović is the director of photography, and the film was edited by Aleksandar Popović. The author team also includes set designer Nenad Marković, costume designer Dragica Laušević, composer Marko Matović… Starring: Tihomir Stanić, Vladimir Aleksić, Svetozar Cvetković, Gordan Kičić, Strahinja Blažić, Đorđe Đoković, Nikola Šurbanović, Nikola Milojević, Vladan Živković, David Tasić Daf, Marko Marković and others. The film lasts 74 minutes.

Gordan Matić was born in 1971 in Kragujevac. He has been working as a director in film, television and theater since 1998, and has won 16 awards at international festivals. Matić has been the director of the Film Center of Serbia since July 2019.
