The project for Mina Đukić’s new film, Children Sing Hits has received support of the MEDIA Creative Europe sub-programme for project development.
Children Sing Hits is an emotional triptych about growing up and friendship between two seven-year-old girls, who started first grade in 1989. Depicting three years in the lives of these two girls, the film shows how social circumstances and relationships gradually change, as doesas the entire scenography of their growing up.
The project Children Sing Hits was previously supported by Film Center Serbia in competitions for co-financing script development and project development, and the producer, Milan Stojanović, is participating in this year’s edition of the ACE Producers training program with this project.
The project is being produced in cooperation with domestic companies, Film House Kiselo dete and Sense Production, and the Adriatic Western from Montenegro, which applied the project for Creative Europe MEDIA competition.
Mina Đukić’s debut film, The Disobedient, premiered at Sundance and Rotterdam (IFF Rotterdam) festivals, after which it was screened at numerous domestic and international festivals.
