Thanks to a new partnership with the Serbian Film Center, a new, 30th ACE financial strategy will be held in Belgrade in the second half of November 2020.

Each September, ACE selects 18 experienced filmmakers, all of whom must co-produce a suitable project that addresses international markets, participate in a one-year ACE training program, and then join the ACE network.

The Financial Strategies Workshop represents the second of four key trainings under the ACE program. The essence of the workshop on financial strategies, to be held in the Serbian capital, will be interactive sessions exploring the possibilities and strategies of international financing, through a detailed analysis of production plans for financing, involving 40 senior professionals from all domains of the film industry. Advisers who previously attended this program include, among others, Bobbi Allen (MUBI), Sebastien Beffa (Plaitime), Philippe Bober (Co-Production Office), Jonas Dornbach (Komplitzen Film), Charlotte Mickie (Celluloid Dreams), Jelena Mitrovic (Bass) Steel)) and Agathe Theodore (Pathe).

Talking about this partnership, Director of the Serbian Film Center Gordan Matic said: “We are very pleased that the Serbian Film Center will host some of the most influential producers of European film today, thanks to our new partnership. I believe that many members of the ACE Network will start dreaming of their new films right here – in Belgrade, in 2020. ”

This workshop will be open to the local film industry this afternoon. The event will give regional film professionals the opportunity to use only commonly available producers and advisors who are members of the ACE Network to gain a better understanding of the opportunities in the local audiovisual sector.

This 30th ACE Financial Strategy Workshop will be held November 16-21 this year.
