One More Day

At the age of ninety-four, Grandma Smilja grapples with loneliness, finding solace amidst the faded walls of her country home steeped in memories. Much like her neighbours, her children and grandchildren left the village long ago in search of a better life. Her only opportunity for conversation is with the arrival of the postman who brings her pension once a month. After his departure, silence reverberates through the house, harshly reminding her that loneliness in old age is unbearable. Despite this, Grandma Smilja finds glimpses of life in the sounds that surround her.
